What is Junior Ambassadors?

Junior Ambassadors is a dynamic and fun ministry experience designed for 6-12 year olds that brings together soccer, Bible learning, and relationship building between your church or organization and the people in your community.

We partner with churches and organizations, providing them with the resources and training they need to run their own soccer ministry.

Soccer Fun + Bible Time

Junior Ambassadors is a soccer ministry that reaches all children equally. The soccer fun and Bible time are geared toward building teamwork while helping to create a foundational Biblical world view for children from all cultures. This is a ministry program that children will LOVE to come to each week.

Junior Ambassadors is typically run as a once-a-week ministry for about 2 hours, with that time split between some fun soccer time and solid Bible teaching through our soccer-themed Toward The Goal curriculum.

You don’t have to be a coach to help. You just need a heart to show children Jesus, and we’ll help you with the rest!

Innovative Bible Curriculum

Junior Ambassadors programs use Toward the Goal curriculum that we developed to help children know Christ through God’s Word. The curriculum is a structured as a parable-based walk through the Bible.

Training

FAQs

What ages is Junior Ambassadors for?

Both our Toward the Goal Curriculum and our soccer drills are geared toward children ages 5-12, but Junior Ambassadors programs can be adapted to a wider age range of children!

Who runs the program each week?

Ambassadors Football staff will train the volunteers from your church or organization to oversee and run your program week-to-week.

How much support will we have from Ambassadors?

An Ambassadors Football staff member will train your volunteers and also be available to answer any questions you may have along the way.

Once your ministry program is established, we will give you access to the materials needed to run your program. This includes marketing/promotion materials, logos, Toward the Goal printer ready files and videos, e-coaching cards, and other assets.

We don’t have any volunteers that play soccer. Can we still run a Junior Ambassadors program?

Yes! The main prerequisite for a Junior Ambassadors volunteer is that they have a heart for sharing God’s Word with children. Our staff will train your volunteers on the soccer side of things as well as the Bible curriculum.

How much does a Junior Ambassadors program cost?

Costs vary based on the number of children in your program and include things like: the equipment you will need, the printing of Bible materials, and possibly location related costs.

You may also want to consider any costs related to the promotion of your ministry; signs, flyers, etc.

Is there anything else that I need to be aware of as a ministry partner?

Yes, as ministry partner, we require that you keep information related to your ministry and report it back to us. This information enables us to report and share with our followers on the reach and results of the Junior Ambassadors program.

I have other questions, who can I contact?

You can contact the Junior Ambassadors Program Director, Matt Warner, at mwarner@ambassadorsfootball.org
