Why coach training?
Training Programs
We run several training programs that use both classroom and on-field training.
TREC (Training, Resourcing and Equipping Coaches) is a general football ministry course that covers essential coaching principles, Biblical basis and models of ministry. We help the participants to develop a vision and action plan that can be applied as they return to their churches and communities.
Other courses include similar elements, with a special emphasis added on disciple making and multiplication of ministry or preparing the participants for a specific program like camps or DT6.
Format & Trainers
These courses typically begin with a one-week intensive training that covers the basics of coaching football, principles of ministry and personal discipleship which is followed by ongoing interaction to help coaches put into practice what they have learned.
We provide additional levels of training for those with the interest and potential to become tutors and train others.
All our trainers have coaching experience and up to UEFA and/or National Football Association recognized qualifications.
