Football Ministry in Great Britain

Since 1997, Ambassadors Football in Great Britain has been using football to share the good news of Jesus and see lives changed. We serve the local church by creating welcoming spaces where faith can be shared, disciples can be made, and communities can be transformed through Christ.

Football helps us build trust, friendships, and gospel-centered relationships that open doors to real conversations about life and faith. We invest in people—training and equipping them to follow Jesus and to use football as a powerful tool for mission.

Summer Camps

Each year Ambassadors Football partners with local churches to deliver quality faith-based Football Camps. Whether you want to run a camp during school holidays, over a weekend or just to organise one for half a day, we are happy to help your Church to do so.

Whilst many young people today would never dream of stepping foot into a church, a football pitch is a different story. We want to break down that barrier and reach children through the sport that they love, teaching them about Jesus in the process.

Our heart for Camps is to help players realise their full potential in football, but more importantly, in God.

Camps include loads of activities, these range from technical sessions to testimonies, Bible times, small-sided games and competitions.

The church connection is key as they are able to invest in individual’s lives throughout the year in a way we can’t.

We want to be flexible around what you envision for your church. Whether you want to run a Camp during school holidays, over a weekend or even just for a few days we are happy to support your vision.

Ambassadors can help you plan your programme from start to finish and our aim is to set you up for success in hosting and delivering a great Camp.

We believe camps work best when they are integrated into a longer-term plan for your community and so we will discuss ways of making that possible.

Are you a church interested in running a Camp? Would you like to come along and see one in action? Do you want more information or just have a few questions?

Whatever the reason, get in touch. We would love to chat with you and share in the vision you have. Please contact Rob at rtaylor@ambassadorsfootball.org

2026 Camps TBA soon.

Football Tours

Tours have been the foundation of Ambassadors Football, the first tour going to Austria and Germany in 1991. Many of today’s Ambassadors Football staff actually experienced their call and passion for full-time football outreach through going on tour. We offer both coaching tours and playing tours.

Sharing your life with young people whilst teaching football skills is what a coaching tour is all about. In partnership with a local church, the tour starts with you being trained by educators with FA qualifications. You then begin to work alongside them to help deliver Camps for children through a local church.

We need people with a passion for sharing their faith and a readiness to learn to be a football coach. No previous experience is necessary. Regular tours take place in Europe and the USA in July/August.

Want an experience of a lifetime? To challenge your world view, faith and help you see the needs of the world?

A playing tour can include matches, coaching sessions, prison/orphanage outreach, team devotions and fellowship. We always see God impact people on and through the tour. If you are a player, coach, medic or want to serve in a support role, then a tour is for you!
