What is Junior Ambassadors?
Junior Ambassadors is a dynamic and fun ministry experience designed for 6-12 year olds that brings together soccer, Bible learning, and relationship building between your church or organization and the people in your community.
We partner with churches and organizations, providing them with the resources and training they need to run their own soccer ministry.
Soccer Fun + Bible Time
Junior Ambassadors is a soccer ministry that reaches all children equally. The soccer fun and Bible time are geared toward building teamwork while helping to create a foundational Biblical world view for children from all cultures. This is a ministry program that children will LOVE to come to each week.
Junior Ambassadors is typically run as a once-a-week ministry for about 2 hours, with that time split between some fun soccer time and solid Bible teaching through our soccer-themed Toward The Goal curriculum.
You don’t have to be a coach to help. You just need a heart to show children Jesus, and we’ll help you with the rest!
Innovative Bible Curriculum
Junior Ambassadors programs use Toward the Goal curriculum that we developed to help children know Christ through God’s Word. The curriculum is a structured as a parable-based walk through the Bible.Â
Training
With over 30 years of soccer ministry experience, we will organize and structure your Junior Ambassadors program to fit your needs. We’ll cover:
- Training – We will train your leaders and volunteers so they are prepared to coach and teach your program effectively.
- Location – We will help you decide the best location that fits the needs of your program.
- Equipment – Based on expected attendance numbers, we will help you order equipment so your coaches have everything they need to run a quality Junior Ambassadors program.
- Lesson Plans – Our sessions are geared towards kids 5-8 years old, with an emphasis on learning the basics of soccer while having fun. We provide you with session plans for the whole 6-week program, as well as a Drill Library that you can use if you want to create your own sessions.
- Structure – How long should a session last? How long should the kids do each drill? Should Bible time be at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of the session? Our staff will talk through these questions with you and help you figure out what would work best for your program.
